“ I ordered the Original Burger and the Deli Deli Burger, and both were absolutely delicious, even though there was a small mix-up with the doneness of the meat. The portions were huge and honestly hard to finish – we ended up leaving half the fries. The staff was friendly, but there was a slight language barrier. I think that’s what caused the mix-up. We ordered two burgers medium and one medium rare, but we got two medium rare and one medium well. Still, the food came out fairly quickly, and during our visit, the place wasn’t very crowded. The restaurant has a modern feel, with an open kitchen behind glass where you can watch your burger being made. There aren’t many tables, but they solved it nicely with bar seating and stools facing the kitchen and bar. The vibe was fun and energetic, with popular music playing in the background. I found the prices to be fair, especially considering the central location. It was easy to find, tucked on a charming little street. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys a good burger and appreciates quality food. The other Google reviews really speak for themselves. ”
“ GO HERE, what an amazing beautiful experience!!! I never write reviews but traveling to Porto I was treated so respectfully everywhere I went. Arriving at this restaurant it was busy...but for good reason. We waited for a table and once we were seated we were treated with so much respect. The atmosphere was great, the cooks focused on dishing out the most beautiful plates I have ever seen. The attention to detail was beyond anything I have ever experienced in my life. I am from Washington DC and I now know I have been actively disrespected in every restaurant I have ever been to (costing more than 5x the price as well).....Now to the food, so delicious!! amazing complex flavors I have never experienced. Classic humble dishes elevated in every way possible with Portuguese and Brazilian flavors. Renato our server was extremely attentive and had a wonderful conversation with us to ensure everyone had a great meal.....I am still in awe with the experience this restaurant provided. “ The whole experience was 10/10. The burgers absolutely slapped, they were so delicious with a good portion of chips. Meat was perfectly done. We also had the Coxinha, never had anything like it, they were so good. Bruna’s service was fantastic so nice and gave us some great tips…. don’t miss the cheesecake! Queue up and wait for your seat you won’t leave there disappointed. ”
“ We resisted a burger for the duration of our trip, having planned a visit to Holy Sandwich as our pre-airport lunch, and it was certainly worth the wait. We arrived at 2pm on Easter Sunday and were promptly offered stool seating looking into the kitchen - this topped off the experience. Despite the varied and creative menu, our entire party (of 5) opted for the classic Holy Burger - be warned, you might never have a better burger again. All 5 plates arrived within 10 minutes alongside a pile of fresh fries and ketchup, although it looks simple it’s the namesake for a reason. The archive of fellow reviews speak volumes of the quality Holy Sandwich deliver with their service, food, and ambiance - consider this a ‘must visit’ for your trip to Porto. “ Great busy place. Very good service here we did have to wait for a table but only a few minutes. The burgers were so tasty, and I recommend the sloppy Joe with a side of siracha dipping sauce as recommended by our server. This little tip was genuis. Great atmosphere here worth a stop. ”
“ The burgers are really good. I think if they polish a few things, it could easily be a solid 5. I really liked the atmosphere, the people and the interior. The burgers were also juicy and not too fatty just how I like them. The bun was fresh too. So why 4 stars? For me it was a bit too salty and the second burger didn’t have enough sauce. The fries were nice as well. One thing to note the place is very popular so you’ll most likely end up sitting near the bar. ”
